As part of today's officialy reveal for Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Ubisoft released an exclusive gameplay waltkhrough for the highly anticipated game.
The video provides us with a first look at the massive Victorian London setting, the characters, and combat you'll experience in Assassin's Creed Syndicate.
Among the features covered are Syndicate's new transportation in the form of carriages and trains. According to Ubisoft, carriages will change the way you play, allowing you to traverse the city faster than before, hide in them, or even run over targets. The improved traffic system also creates new parkour opportunities, as you'll be able to jump from carriage to carriage.
Another new feature is the Rope Launcher, a new tool that'll change the way you navigate the city by allowing you to climb the highest building in seconds or zipline from rooftop to rooftop.
The gameplay walkthrough also gives us a look at the must faster-paced combat in Assassin's Creed Syndicate. According to Ubisoft, this will be the fastest Assassin's Creed ever built.
Combat will also be much more brutal than ever and take place at a much closer range thanks, in part, to the weaponry available during the Industrial Revolution (brass knuckles, kukri knife, revolver, and the Assassin gauntlet). As described by Ubisoft, there's a lot more stealth involved in the weapons you wield, allowing for lots of freedom for you to cause chaos. Combat has been described as a more of a "brawl" in Syndicate, where you must fight from one enemy to another.
