[Watch] Absurdist First Person Adventure game, Maize releases alongside new launch trailer

Finish Line Games has released their absurdist First Person Adventure game, Maize and it might just be one of the most random games you'll ever play. The game's main draw is its story, which is about a pair of idiot scientists that blow oodles of government funding on an extravagant underground facility where they experiment of sentient corn. The game casts you in the role of a silent protagonist, which is fine since the world around you will be full of non-stop chatter about nothing (in a good way).

As an example of how "seriously" you should take the game, here's an excerpt from Maize's recent launch press release.

"Maize is super-immersive and brimming with visually dynamic interactivity. We’re not actually sure what that’s supposed to mean, but we’re pretty sure Maize has it. After all, how many games have puzzles involving talking corn, coat racks, nuclear fuel rods, and uncomfortably fast coffee trolleys?"

Maize is available now on Steam, GOG.com, and the Humble Store and retails for $19.99, but is currently running a sale with a 10% launch discount.
