[Watch] Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown has been confirmed for Xbox One and PC

Ace Combat has been around for a long time and is one of those franchises that always sold well enough to stick but not enough to prosper. Despite its relatively niche nature, it keeps on keeping on, but after being a PlayStation exclusive all these years, Bandai Namco has decided to make a change. Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown is officially coming to both Xbox One and PC courtesy of the trailer you see above.

The conversation about Ace Combat's newfound multiplatform status has blown up over on the Xbox One subreddit, with many fans talking about having Top Gun on repeat until the game releases. Danger Zone, baby.

Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown was previously shown off with PSVR support back at the PlayStation Experience, and doesn't look to be a motion-sickness friendly type of game. Ace Combat 7 is set to release sometime in 2017, though its exact release date is still unknown.
