[Watch] ARK: Survival Evolved is getting a cinematic live-action series on YouTube

Now that ARK: Survival Evolved has been released in full, it seems Studio Wildcard has taken the opportunity to reveal one of the next projects related to the game. The developers have teamed up with Pixomondo, a visual effects studio which is known for their work on Game of Thrones and Furious 7 to produce a live action series based on the world of ARK: Survival Evolved.

The pair released a small teaser of the series and is something of an inside joke known to players of the game. Several of the game's super tribes have a tendency to hang around spawn points waiting for new players to arrive so they can cut them down before they can even get started. It seems Studio Wildcard has used this aspect of the game as the focal point of the new trailer.

Check it out:

According to the video's description, we can expect more of these types of episodes to come "in the near future."

In other ARK news, the game finally released version 1.0 after being in Early Access for the last two years. Coinciding with the full release was also the addition of adorable otter companions, and Studio Wildcard says they are far from finished adding to the game.

ARK: Survival Evolved is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
