[Watch] As Dawn of War III shows off new cinematic, factions, and characters

Dawn of War III is making steady progress towards release and developer Relic Entertainment is doing their job in keeping up the hype with their latest in-depth character and cinematics showcase trailer.

As a part of their Fog of War trailer series, Relic is shedding a bit of extra light on certain aspects of Dawn of War III and the latest Fog of War features new in-game cinematics and gameplay as well as an in-depth look at the different factions of the game and the characters in them, as well as their place in the lore of the Warhammer 40.=,000 universe.

This issue of Fog of War also features Game Director Phillip Boulle and Art Director Matt Kuzminski who both do their best in explaining the key points mentioned above as well as why they are going with this beautiful foggy art style. It is well worth a watch for both fans of the franchise and those just interested in Warhammer 40K and it is almost necessary to watch for those new to Dawn of War or Warhammer 40K since a lot of important backstory is explained here in this trailer.

Dawn of War III is set for a 2017 release, and depending on how you interpret what Boulle says at 3:20 it could launch with an Ork campaign.
