[Watch] Awesome fan-made Zelda short focuses on Skull Kid’s origin in Majora’s Mask

While Nintendo has a history of crushing fan made tributes, the fan-made Zelda movies tend to live on (at least for a little while). EmberLab, the makers of a number of fan-made Zelda movies and teasers, have released a short film focused on Majora's Mask and it's pretty darn great.

The fan-made film has been described as the following from the creators:

A tribute to the legendary game, this short showcases Skull Kid’s dark origin story. Our take on how the Zelda Universe could be realized in film. A labor of love for all those involved, this is a gift to the fans.

Last year Nintendo shot down any hope that Zelda fans had on receiving a Netlflix-like series for the franchise, but we can always dream.
