Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the newest Mario Kart entry to the series, and recently the preview embargo was lifted, so new videos have released revealing lots of information on the game. It's looking like its own title, as opposed to just an HD upgrade.
More videos can be found at GameReactor, including 200cc Time Attack Mode.
The game is looking great, running at 60 fps and is one of the best examples of a "deluxe" version of a game with how much it seems to be adding to the original.
Mario Kart 8 is set to release later this month on April 28 for the Nintendo Switch. It includes all characters, tracks, DLC and karts from the Wii U version, along with tons more features, characters, karts and modes. Lastly, the visuals are obviously enhanced as well.
