During Sony's E3 2015 press conference, Rocksteady showed off the opening cinematic for Batman: Arkham Knight.
Interestingly, the video opens up The Joker, who we think is still dead. The corpse is being sent over to get cremated, and at that point we hear Commissioner Gordon's voiceover monologue: "This is how it happened. This is how the Batman died."
From there, the video shifts into a first-person view as a police officer enters a diner. What happens from there? You'll just have to watch the video above. Or don't if you don't want to spoil anything.
Batman Arkham Knight is set to release next week June 23, 2015 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
