Batman Begins really started a new age for superhero films. Movies became darker, more grounded, and really broke down the characters within them. It also helped depict Batman in a more comic-accurate way, so we aren't stuck getting a Batman & Robin-like movie every few years. Without it, we wouldn't have gotten what is arguably the best comic book movie ever made.

Batman's next solo appearance will be in The Batman which is set to be directed by Matt Reeves. It's unclear if Ben Affleck will stay on for the role due to some rumors that have been circulating.
