After a couple teasers yesterday from The Rock and Zac Efron, today Paramount released the first official trailer for Baywatch.
This won't be your 90's style Baywatch TV show, however. The film will be rated R and see the team investigate happenings on the island that lead to dead bodies popping up and other criminal activity. The official description of the movie is
"Baywatch follows devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) as he butts heads with a brash new recruit (Efron). Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay."
Upon first hearing about the Baywatch remake, there was some given skepticism. It seems as if The Rock, Efron, and crew eliminated any of that as the film looks pretty good. There is action, typical The Rock jokes and nothing too cheesy and 90's-ish about it. Let us know what you think below.
