Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been all over YouTube lately, and today is no exception. In the latest video. Executive Producer Jerk Gustafsson and Creative Director Jens Matthies talk Wolfenstein's take on Nazi take-over.
They talk about two cities in the game: New Orleans which is entirely a ghetto, and Roswell New Mexico which is a much more recognisable 1960's dream town. But don't forget, they're both controlled by Nazis.
Beyond that, the two creators talk about environmental storytelling. The game takes place 14 years into Nazi control, so the propaganda is very much ingrained into the backdrop. We've seen examples in a few videos already, including a Nazi game show and a cheesy Golden Age super hero that's very Superman but also very… not.
Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus will release for PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 27, 2017.
