Forza Horizon 3 is a pretty game on the Xbox One, but as is par for the course, if you've got the rig, the PC version makes the race a no contest. The folks over at Digital Foundry (naturally) decided to take the PC version for a test drive (which comes for free with an Xbox One digital purchase), and the results are insane.
It's worth mentioning that not everyone can pull this off. It takes a powerful rig to be able to achieve a smooth 60 FPS for the open world racer, nevermind even hitting 4K resolution. Just check out the specs. The test run seen above uses a Core i7 6700K paired with Nvidia's Titan X Pascal. Just throwing it out there, Nvidia's Titan X will cost you a pretty $1,200 alone.
So while we all dream about what could be, just live vicariously for 9 minutes through Digital Foundry's test drive of the PC version of Forza Horizon 3.
