Remember sitting for hours trying to figure out why traffic kept on piling up and why none of your residents could get back to their homes in time for dinner? That will soon be all in the past, the release date for Cities Skylines next DLC, Mass Transit, has been revealed.
The latest expansion for Cities Skylines aims to bring the never ending traffic problems to an end with a whole lot of new options for mass transit such as blimps, monorails, cable cars, better ferry systems, and much more. These are all intended to alleviate traffic from your roads and actually allowing the inhabitants to get places in time and not get stuck in gridlock.
Cities Skylines: Mass Transit also comes with new service buildings for the new types of transport such as Service Hubs, allowing people to easier connect between different types of transport, instead of trying to get your subway to connect to the same stop, causing chaos, players can now connect them to hubs which in turn connects to other transport services such as blimps, making mass transit much smoother than in the past. The DLC also comes with new scenarios road types and landmarks
Usually, these DLCs comes with a big patch as well, bringing new features and improvements to the game to both those who have bought the DLC and those who have not. We still have to wait and see exactly what those improvements will be.
Cities Skylines: Mass Transit will be available from April 18.
