It doesn't feel like it was all that long ago that we were looking forward to what 2016 was going to offer us, but here were are. In the final calendar month of 2016, we will be getting a look back on the year's finest games, and the contenders for Game of the Year are no slouches (depending on who you ask). Obviously, not every game can win, and many gamers will likely disagree with the result one way or the other. But no matter who wins, just enjoy the evening and keep playing the games you love.
If you need a reminder, here are the nominees for Game of the Year:
Who do you think is going to win? Was DOOM's stellar single player campaign enough to overlook its multiplayer shortcomings? Did Overwatch do enough with its Multiplayer to outweigh the fact that it has no campaign? Is Nathan Drake's final adventure the best of both worlds? Or will Inside kick the big guys in the teeth and take home the award?
We can't wait to find out. For a full list of the nominees in every category, you can check them out here.
