Whether you're a fan of Daisy Ridley or not, there's one thing that's for sure – she pretty much nailed her audition to be Rey in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
The Force Awakens will see a Blu-ray release of later this month that will include deleted scenes, as well as commentary from the cast and crew. According to one snippet of the included commentary, Ridley absolutely blew everyone away with her audition.
Ridley was set in an 'intense' torture scene for her audition, where she managed to work up tears – not one, but multiple times after adjustments from director J.J. Abrams. Watch her cry with some guys hand on her head in the video below.
(function(d, s, id) { var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0]; if (d.getElementById(id)) return; js = d.createElement(s); js.id = id; js.src = “//connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&version=v2.3”; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js, fjs);}(document, ‘script’, ‘facebook-jssdk’));
