Watch Dogs 2 potentially leaked by Ubisoft

A Ubisoft developer has possibly leaked the existence of a sequel to 2014's Watch Dogs. Julien Risse, a Senior Gameplay Programmer at Ubisoft, updated his LinkedIn profile to say that he had worked on Watch Dogs, its DLC Bad Blood, and Watch Dogs 2. The problem? Watch Dogs 2 has not yet been announced.

Risse's LinkedIn profile has been changed since the update, removing Watch Dogs 2 from his list of work. Of course, this is the internet, and VideoGamer grabbed a screenshot before it was removed:

Almost a year ago to this day, Jonathan Morin revealed that there was "No such thing as a Watch Dogs 2," but that didn't mean it couldn't happen. Morin went on to say,  "There's stuff we discovered by making Watch Dogs that are interesting to pursue. But it's up to players…A big part of it was defining whatever Watch Dogs is. Once you have that starting point, then what becomes interesting is what players want more of – what comes next?"

Those statements open up the possibility of a Watch Dogs sequel. We are only a couple of months away from E3, and Ubisoft will definitely be attending the event as they've got a new Assassin's Creed on the way and more games from the Child of Light universe in production. So, can we expect a new Watch Dogs game at E3? Quite possibly!
