Watch Dogs 2: Ubisoft to remove NPC’s ladybits that got a PSN user banned

One Watch Dogs 2 player found out the hard way that Sony doesn't want you sharing pictures of NPC nether regions the hard way. After getting an early copy of the game, the player shared an "explicit" picture of an NPC in Watch Dogs 2 that led to a one-month ban.

While the game is M-Rated and features just as much lady bits as GTA V, at least as far as breasts, there's one thing Sony doesn't want to see – the goods.

NeoGaf user Goron2000 is the one that located the NPC and her goods. Goron decided to share the image of their find, which resulted in the ban.

"I received my copy of Watch Dogs 2 on Saturday evening due to a mistake on Amazon Prime Now and I've been having a great time with the game so far. On Sunday evening I accidentally blew up a few women in a back alley with a gas pipe and then I saw *it*; someone at Ubisoft had rendered a full vagina on one (or maybe more) of the females in the game. "

"I took a picture of this funny oversight with the in-game camera and shared it on twitter for my friends to see and I posted it in one of the Watch Dogs early release threads on here. Cut to tonight where I can't access any services while playing the game and then when I tried to sign in there was a very brief message about my account being suspended."

It didn't simply end with a one week ban, though, after being banned and not being able to log on to their PSN account Sony re-banned them, adding three weeks to the initial ban… All without the user even being able to log in and perform any kind of action that would extend the ban period.

In reply to the user's plight, Ubisoft has promised to remove the asset that made the female NPC too explicit for the Mature-Rated game and to make sure fans are still able to share screenshots from the game.

"We’re aware that one of the NPC models in Watch Dogs 2 is rendered in a way that is particularly explicit. While Watch Dogs 2 is a mature-rated game, we apologize and will update this NPC model to make it more consistent with other NPC models in the game in a patch to be released this week.  We also are working with our first-party partners to ensure that players can continue to play and share all content from the game within the bounds of the first parties’ respective codes of conduct."

What's interesting is there's plenty of nudity in GTA V, including some nether regions, and a quick search on Google didn't show any bans for that.

I hope you enjoy my poor paint skills.
