We know that Ubisoft has quite a few big budget IP's in the works, but Watch Dogs 2 is arguably the most sought after. After the company confirmed the game's existence a few months ago, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot shared some new (vague) details in an earnings call with Gamespot.
He said the game will feature a "new tone" alongside "innovative gameplay" but did not expand on what either really meant (naturally). Ubisoft also offered an infographic alongside the information that they expect Watch Dogs 2 to be the company's best selling game of the fiscal year of 2017.
Guillemot also made quite the bold statement, claiming that Watch Dogs 2 has the potential to be the best selling game in company history. It remains to be seen whether or not the game will accomplish this, but it seems that Ubisoft has no qualms about going big with Watch Dogs 2.
We still don't know much officially about the game, but we can expect that E3 2016 will clear up a lot of things, including this rumor about the game's protagonist.
