Watch Dogs delayed for Wii U

The Wii U version of Watch Dogs has been delayed, Ubisoft confirmed today during the company's earnings call.

The highly anticipated open-world adventure still doesn't have a firm release date, but is expected to arrive on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC this spring — some time between April and June. The Wii U version will come "at a later date."

Last month, reports of GameStop no longer taking pre-orders for the game sparked rumors of Watch Dogs being cancelled entirely. GameStop assured this hiccup was a result of a "glitch" in the system, which I now think had something to do with the delay.
