Ubisoft today revealed a new trailer for Watch Dogs, an open-world adventure game that "blends cutting-edge technologies and sophisticated game design." But in an unexpected announcement, the company revealed Watch Dogs will release on November 19 in North America for PS3, PS4 (whenever it launches), Xbox 360, Wii U, and PC
The release date announcement came alongside the expected release of a new trailer. The video, titled "Out of Control," shows off some of the highly anticipated gameplay in which players, as Aiden Pearce, are able to hack into Chicago’s central operating system (ctOS) and control almost every element of the city. Prior to today's video we knew Pearce was a vigilante, but we really didn't have a clue as to why he did what he did. It's now apparent that Aiden Pearce is a man driven by revenge against the people "who crossed him."
