Last week, NetherRealm Studios teased that they would be revealing a new character this week and it happened! A new fighter has joined the roster and it's Doctor Fate. Before Dr. Fate's reveal, NetherRealm gave us a taste of Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Catwoman, Swamp Thing, Black Canary, Cyborg and Scarecrow.
Doctore Fate first appeared in 1940, with no background information in a short six-page comic strip. As his character evolved through time, he was shown to have a number of powers, such as spellcasting, flight, super-strength, telekinesis, and more.
