With the news that Dragon Quest XI is coming West, Square Enix has released some footage of the game running on a PS Vita courtesy of the PlayStation 4 Remote Play feature. The footage comes from the Japanese PlayStation Blog, so suffice it to say; the trailer is entirely in Japanese.
Here it is:
That said, there isn't much here that makes language a requirement, as the trailer primarily serves to give a sense of how the game looks running via Remote Play, and it appears to work quite well. It's quite a contrast to how the game runs on the Nintendo 3DS, though to be fair that's an entirely different engine running the same game directly on the hardware itself, where as the Remote Play feature is simply streaming the game.
There is currently no word when Dragon Quest XI will land in the West, but we are expected to hear more about it sometime this Fall. The game is projected to arrive on PS4 and Nintendo 3DS with a Nintendo Switch version coming sometime later.
