Koei Tecmo released a new trailer for Dynasty Warriors 9 today. This trailer gives us a look at how the new title in the series will look and play like when it launches on PlayStation 4.
Dynasty Warriors has always been a guilty pleasure sort of game. Easy to learn, and not even that hard to master, but endlessly fun to just vent with by mowing through crowds of enemies. The game includes all the characters from the eighth entry, plus an unknown number of new ones.
Koei Tecmo had this to say about Dynasty Warriors 9:
"Players will be able to fully utilize their surroundings for the first time in the Warriors franchise with the ability to climb buildings and mountains, wield grappling hooks to traverse walls, and make use of objects like oil barrels in battle. These new actions offer a breadth of new possibilities for players to take advantage of while travelling around third-century China, or when caught in the heat of battle!"
Their website has more information on the game, but a release date has yet to be announced. Technically, the game has only been announced for Japan, but it's unlikely to remain a Japan exclusive.
In other Warriors news, Fire Emblem Warriors got a new story trailer at E3 and even a release window.
