[Watch] E3 2017: Assassin’s Creed Origins Trailer Shows Off Gameplay, Release Date

We've heard rumors about Assassin's Creed Origins and its setting of ancient Egypt, but at Microsoft's E3 press conference, we've learned more about the story and mechanics.

Set at the beginnings of the Assassin Brotherhood, we learn how it all started. The main character takes control of an eagle, Senu, to survey an area before sneaking in.

A number of classic assassins skills are shown, as well as a couple new ones like firing a bow in mid-air and using a shield in melee combat.

No release date was announced, but it's been rumored as October 27, 2017.
