Last week, Bethesda offered a few new details on their upcoming game, The Evil Within 2, which revealed that players new to the series won't have to play through the first game to understand the sequel. While the developers released an FAQ last week, they waited until this week to get a new gameplay trailer out!

Game description, as per Bethesda's wording:
It’s a race against time for Sebastian as he fights to survive and find Lily, his daughter, before she’s lost forever in a crumbling STEM world. As he searches, he is haunted by the ghosts of his past and his own insecurities, but he never loses hope. Determined to save Lily, Sebastian will travel to the depths of this new STEM world and face off against anything it throws at him.

The Evil Within 2 is set to release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 13th, which just happens to be a Friday.
