[Watch] Farpoint, the Space VR Title Goes Gold With This Epic Trailer

Impulse Gear, a developer utilizing PlayStation VR has officially gone gold with their new title Farpoint, set to release on May 16. Farpoint is the first title from Impulse Gear and looks like a reason for Sci-Fi thriller fans to make the jump to VR.

The game utilizes the PS VR Aim controller, which could work well with the game's use of firearms and shooting mechanics. Farpoint is a narrative experience with what seems to be actual gameplay, something many critics of VR seem to think other titles are lacking.

From their post on the PlayStation blog, Seth Luisi, Co-founder of Impulse Gears said, "When we started working on Farpoint we knew from the beginning that we wanted it to have a deep and meaningful narrative. We wanted to use VR to tell a unique, more personal story in a way that put the player right in the middle of it."

They plan to share more between now and release. But for now, enjoy this story trailer that has glimpses of gameplay as well:
