We have officially been given our first look at the upcoming addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the first teaser for Venom. The Venom movie finished filming at the end of January after beginning filming in October 2017. With filming having just ended, a majority of the film is likely still getting its digital effects added.
In the trailer, we get a good at Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock.
This is probably why we only got a glimpse of the Venom Symbiote with Riz Ahmed standing above it. With Ahmed so close to the symbiote, it’s likely that rumors of him playing the role of Carnage have a bit more support.
We even get a look at Michelle Williams in the trailer, who could become She-Venom.
Marvel has been very clear in saying that the Venom-verse will not cross-over with the Spider-man universe. The film has not been rated.
Venom is expected to release on October 5th, 2018.
