Ubisoft's historical melee combat game, For Honor, is almost upon us. Select fans have been treating themselves to hours worth of gameplay via the game's closed Alpha and Beta, but the world is about to get its hands on the game completely free of charge, courtesy an Open Beta which is scheduled to come out later this week. To celebrate the launch, Ubisoft has released a new trailer for the game, that takes a CGI scene and adds a full 360 dimension to it.
As you go through the trailer, soldiers from each of the three factions fall at your feets, painting a grim reality of things to come. Ubisoft also announced that the upcoming Open Beta is now available for pre-load on all platforms.
Tomorrow, Ubisoft will be hosting a live stream called War of the Factions Live which will introduce For Honor's new Elimination Mode, a best of five rounds four-versus-four match with zero respawns. If you're planning on getting the game on Day 1, you can get a head start by signing up for Twitch Prime, and you will get a 10 Day Champion Status, shareable XP boosts, and more. If you're interested in signing up, head over here.
For Honor's Open Beta runs from February 9th through the 12th before the game releases in full on February 14th.
