Peter Mayhew, the actor who played Chewbacca in Star Wars, has come across some footage that he's posted to his Twitter account. The footage is from The Empire Strikes Back and shows Chewbacca speaking with Han Solo in English rather than his Wookie language.
Apparently, the footage was found by a documentary reporter from the Hollywood Reporter, who in turn provided it to Mayhew. You hear Chewie ask Han Solo "Where the hell have you been?" and "Where are you going? What time are we leaving". This is the first time we've ever seen footage of Chewbacca with him not speaking in his Wookie language. Even Mayhew himself commented by saying "Wonderful bit of stuff from @Jamieswb". Of course, JamiesWB in question refers to the London-based documentary reporter who initially provided him the footage.
You can see the footage below, and I must say it's really awesome. For those who grew up with the trilogy like myself, it's pretty surreal. What do you guys think!
