Exactly two months ago, Paramount Pictures unleashed the first official trailer for Ghost in the Shell, starring Scarlett Johansson as Major and today, we've got a new one. It's been stated that the film will adhere closely to the anime and focus on the Kuze storyline.
The latest trailer shows off Kuze and Major, but it's an interesting depiction of their relationship. It's just a trailer, though, so things may not be as they seem.
If you're familiar with Ghost in the Shell, the trailer might raise a few hairs – and not in a good way. There are plenty of emotions being thrown around and a possible conspiracy by Section 9 against Major. However, with the main villain hacking into brains – there's a chance she's been hacked and it's all a twist. Hopefully… that wasn't a spoiler for the movie, though… If so, sorry.
Ghost in the Shell is set to release March 31st.
