[Watch] Halo Wars 2’s launch trailer teases an unstoppable threat

Halo Wars 2 drops in just a few days and Microsoft has treated us with an epic launch trailer. Although Halo Wars 2 is an RTS game, Microsoft is promoting the game using the epic cutscenes that show the drama between characters, epic summer blockbuster-like action, and more.

The trailer gives us a rundown of the state of the world in the game where an evil alien named Atriox has gone rogue from the Covenant. Atriox is a nearly unstoppable force who wasn't even able to be contained by the entire Covenant army, posing a huge threat to the Spartans and Marines. You can view the intense trailer below.

Halo Wars 2 launches February 21st on Xbox One and PC, but players who purchase the Ultimate Edition can jump into the action on the 17th.
