[Watch] Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice gets new trailer showing off the hells of psychosis

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice may go down as one of the most mental games of 2017. Much of that has to do with the fact that the game casts you in the role of a protagonist who lives with psychosis, which can be quite horrifying. Earlier today, Ninja Theory released a new teaser trailer for the game showing off Senua approaching what I can only describe as a demonic man-baby shrouded in darkness.

The term weird doesn't even begin to cover it, and that's not a bad thing. Check out the trailer:

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice is considered to be a "AAA independent game" with a price point that comes in at a reasonable $29.99. The game has been in development for quite some time but is finally releasing later this summer for PS4 and PC. The game has an emphasis on narrative that Team Ninja isn't necessarily known for, but it's always cool to see a developer stretch outside their comfort zone to try something new.

Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice releases on August 8th, 2017 for PS4 and PC.
