[Watch] Here’s a new look at the PlayStation 4 exclusive survival game Days Gone

Developers really love to push the aspect of "anything can happen in your playthrough" or "you can choose how you want to play!" Most of the time, it's kind of gimmicky but with the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive Days Gone, both of those statements are completely true.

At E3 2017, we saw a gameplay demo that showed some human to human combat on what appeared to be a day during the fall or spring. We saw various mechanics get detailed but now, Sony has treated us to an all-new alternate playthrough of that same demo.

This demo is now set in the winter and different things happen due to the player taking different paths, enemies reacting differently, and more. This new demo shows just how different each playthrough can be and how you may play through a level entirely differently than someone else. You can enjoy the demo which is narrated by writer and director of Days Gone, John Garvin, and actor Sam Witwer down below.

Days Gone will release exclusively on PlayStation 4 at an unspecified date.
