[Watch] Here’s the first teaser trailer for The Incredibles 2

The Incredibles is one of Pixar's most beloved films and fans have been desperately begging for a sequel ever since they saw the cliffhanger ending in 2004. With over a decade having gone by and little said about a sequel, many began to believe that Pixar had scrapped ideas in favor of new IPs or sequels to their newer films.

Have no fear though, it's finally happening and we now officially have the first footage! The Incredibles 2 will follow the family of heroes being split as Elastigirl moves into the spotlight as Mr. Incredible stays at home to take care of his family including his infant son, Jack-Jack, who secretly has powers that the family doesn't know about. The family must unite once again with the ever-popular Frozone to take down a new villain.

You can see the brief new trailer below.

It's unclear if we'll see a full-length trailer before the end of 2018 (maybe before showings of The Last Jedi) but this should be enough to tide you over until The Incredibles 2 hits theaters on June 15th, 2018.
