Slightly Mad Studios, the developers behind Project Cars, announced that Project Cars 2 would be releasing at some point near September this year – at least according to a forum post. According to Slightly Mad Studios' CEO Ian Bell, the game is a bit behind in some areas which put it in that "Septemberish" release window.
While we wait for Project Cars 2 to become more real, it looks like the trailer has leaked and it might even suggest that VR will be a feature in the game. At the 1:11 mark, we can see the drive swiveling their head in a pretty familiar way – a VR way. The trailer was uploaded by RaceDriver who notes that this trailer has not been officially announced by Slightly Mad Studios.
Now, take this with a grain of salt – leaks and rumors are unverified items. Slightly Mad Studios has not released a Project Cars 2 trailer.
Project Cars 2 is being crowd funded and developed with the communities help.
