[Watch] Kingdom Come: Deliverance releases new story-driven trailer setting up a very personal quest

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is without a doubt one of the most intriguing open-world RPGs to come around in some time. It’s decision to abandon any, and all elements of fantasy in the game of presenting the most grounded experience possible takes serious cajones, and if this new trailer is any indication, it may very well pay off.

Check it out:

Much of what’s been discussed around Kingdom Come: Deliverance has been primarily gameplay, and rightly so. After all, what good is a game’s story if it’s no fun to play in the first place, right?

Combat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance is one of its big hooks, as it is based on physics, weight, and impact of the weapons in the game. Every enemy you encounter has 30 different spots that can be attacked, and mixing up how you melee is vital to success. There will be no Fireballs or Lightning Bolts to get you out of danger this time; just your wits and your weapon.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance releases later this month on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on February 13th, 2018.
