No, it's not the game you really want, but Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is here to attempt to fill the void until Kingdom Hearts 3 is ready. Whenever that will be. 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue is not merely a mouthful of a name but brings extra story content that leads into Kingdom Hearts 3.
This new trailer shows off both gameplay and story sequences from all three games in the package; the HD remastered versions of the 3DS game, Dream Drop Distance, and the PSP game, Birth By Sleep (which includes a new playable episode, 0.2 Birth By Sleep) and Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover. If the soundtrack sounds familiar (and it should if you're a real fan), it's a remixed version of Simple and Clean titled Simple And Clean – Ray of Hope MIX from Utada Hikaru.
There's still no indication as to when Kingdom Hearts 3 will ever see the light of day, but hopefully, it won't be as long a wait as say….Final Fantasy XV. I'm crossing my fingers on that one.
