Watch Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue’s first trailer, and get ready to wait

At Tokyo Game Show this week, Square Enix revealed Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 Final Chapter Prologue, a new compilation featuring full-HD remaster of Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, a completely new HD theater cinematic called Kingdom Hearts χ Back Cover, and a short brand new Kingdom Hearts playable episode called Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth By Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-.

Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep – A Fragmentary Passage is a completely new episode played from the perspective of Aqua. Set after the storyline of Birth by Sleep, the episode links to the story of Kingdom Hearts 3 (which also explains why the KH3 trailer is at the beginning). Meanwhile, Kingdom Hearts χ [chi] Back Cover is an HD movie that tells the mysterious story of the Foretellers, connecting the earliest parts of the series' history.

Got all that?

Well, if not, Square Enix has also finally released an English trailer of the one shown at Tokyo Game Show. The game is still in development which should explain why you're still seeing Japanese text and hearing Japanese voice over at some parts. Regardless, it's enough to get me hyped.
