We got our first look at an official version of Mario Kart in virtual reality not too long ago in a promotional video. The video was essentially an advertisement for a new VR Zone arcade in Shinjuku, Tokyo and showed off a number of games being played in VR, including Mario Kart, with an HTC Vive headset.
Now we've been given a better look at Mario Kart Arcade VR in a short gameplay teaser, seen below:
What's not pictured is how players will be playing the game. According to previously released information, players will be equipped with an HTC Vive headset and will be seated in Mario Kart-styled arcade chairs that feature steering wheels for driving and motion control wristbands that allow you to throw items at your opponents.
