Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle is obviously a game about mashing up the Mario franchise with the Rabbids franchise. It's weird, yes, but the game looks really fun in its E3 reveal trailer. But what's a mash-up without co-op? With such a roster of characters, it only makes sense. Ubisoft recently released a video where they talk about the different aspects of co-op in Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
According to the accompanying blog post, there's a single-player campaign that puts players in charge of three heroes at a time. The co-op challenges, however, put you and a friend in control of four heroes, two heroes per player. In the video below, they have to battle some Boos and they quickly learn that the co-op world of Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle can be very chaotic.
They also note that not every co-op challenge is a battle. Sometimes there's puzzles to solve, something mostly unseen in the tactical RPG genre.
Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle comes out August 29 for Nintendo Switch.
