[Watch] Mass Effect: Andromeda multiplayer premiere coverage released

With one week left to go until release, Bioware finally released the first coverage of multiplayer for Mass Effect: Andromeda today.

It follows the same format as Mass Effect 3 and utilizes a horde mode of four waves. Each wave gets increasingly tougher, and emphasis on teamwork is key. There's a key lesson to be learned in this video, and it's mentioned in the video above at 4::05. It says that all experience is distributed equally to all teammates at the completion of the round. This means that everyone who spammed Krogan Vanguard with the Carbine in Mass Effect 3 ( you know who you are) won't need to compete with your very own teammates any longer for XP

The video also touches on the Strike Team missions, which can be played either solo with your AI companions to earn single player XP. If you partake in the missions, you will earn both single and multiplayer XP for your troubles.

Mass Effect: Andromeda releases next week, March 21st on both Xbox One and PS4 as well as PC
