Ever since Destiny players sat their Guardian butts down on their Speeder Bikes Sparrows, the thought of racing these bad boys was always on their mind. It only took them over a year, but Bungie finally implemented it, in the form of a limited time event called the Sparrow Racing League. I never really understood the want for racing these things, since their controls never lent themselves that well for races. And if anything, my first few races in the game completely confirmed this. The controls just don't really work for this to be considered a serious, not to mention fair, racer.
During my first race, not showcased here, I was in 6th place for most of the time. Somehow, miraculously, I ended up being 2nd. Determined to do better, I tried again, which is this video above. As you can see, I totally screwed up right in the beginning when I was messing around with the left and right boost, and got myself stuck for a solid four seconds on a rock. And yet, somehow, miraculously, I was able to finish first.
I'm not going to boast though, rather, I'm going to blame it on the fact that this mode is very new, and I was most likely playing with people who have never raced on this course.
Just kidding, I'm awesome.
