As promised, TaleWorlds Entertainment brought Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord to E3 2017, an the studio has released a couple of gameplay videos that show off the game in action. The first trailer is from the perspective of a Cavalry Sergeant, who can charge up attacks with his spear and combine them with the speed of his horse for strategic hits for massive damage. The second trailer shows off the Horse Archer Sergeant, who as you can probably surmise, uses a bow and arrow to attack enemies from afar.
Here are the trailers:

The trailers also showcase three notable improvements to the Mount & Blade series, Advanced Formations, Battlefield AI, and the Sergeant System. The game now lets you split and merge your forces at will for some added dynamic strategy and you will also be carrying out orders from your commander throughout the battles while using your intuitions to add your own flair to your victories.
Mount & Blade 2 will also feature a few additions specifically to combat which include Directional Shield Blocking, a Shield Bash attack, Attack Chaining, and overall improvements to the animations and engine.
Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord does not currently have a release date, but will supposedly launch sometime later this year.
