[Watch] New Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer brings Baby Groot, action, and a killer soundtrack

Last night we reported that the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer would be dropping at 8 PM ET today, but it would appear someone at Marvel couldn't help but push that big red button labeled "Upload Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 trailer". That joke will make more sense in a minute.

The new trailer for the sci-fi superhero film dropped online just a little while ago and you can watch it right here! The trailer features the group of lovable "a-holes" back in action, taking on a giant squid/octopus-like monster. You can get a taste of the action, comedy, and the adorable Baby Groot in the trailer below. If you're worried about spoilers, it looks like the trailer only shows footage from one big action scene and a scene where the Guardians are talking to an alien, so not too much is spoiled!

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 releases on May 5th, 2017.
