[Watch] New trailer for SNES Classic showcases new features for the console

The SNES Classic was announced earlier this year after Nintendo's big success with the NES Classic in 2016. Up until this morning, there was no way to pre-order the console in the United States. When pre-orders went up, they were gone in under 20 minutes.

So, if you were one of the lucky people to get one or just want to torture yourself with the thought of something you can't have, Nintendo has released a new video showcasing a bunch of new features for the SNES Classic.

You can check out the 90s themed commercial above and view the full breakdown below.

  • Rewind – An all-new feature lets you rewind a minute or more based on your game’s last suspend point. Each game can save up to four suspend points.
  • My Game Play Demo – This new demo mode will replay your saved Suspend Points as part of the demo game footage instead of using built-in demos.
  • Frame – Wrap a cool border around your game with the new Frame feature. Some of the frames change color based on the game being played.

The SNES Classic releases on September 29th, 2017, good luck getting one.
