Open world and pinball are two types of games I never thought I'd see put together, but here we are. Yoku's Island Express aims to be just that as it was announced to the world for the first time today in an all-new trailer (embedded above). The game casts players in the role of a dung beetle who has just become the postman for the island it inhabits, though I can't imagine the role being that important to the game's goals.
The game looks rock solid and is due to come out on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch sometime between Winter 2017 and early 2018. The game is being developed by indie Swedish studio, Villa Gorilla and is set to make an appearance at GDC 2017.
