[Watch] PGW 2017: Concrete Genie is a Story About a Boy and His Drawn Monster Pals

Concrete Genie was announced today at the Paris Games Week 2017. It's a game feature a boy named Ash. But this Ash isn't catching Pokemon. He draws monsters with a magic paintbrush that brings them to life in this PlayStation 4 exclusive.

He's a downtrodden kid who's picked on by bullies and has a love for art. The game focuses on having fun painting, using the PlayStation's Dualshock 4's motion sensor.

The creations that Ash can draw to life can help him solve puzzles, traverse terrain otherwise inaccessible, and most importantly, pick him up when he's down: literally and figuratively.

The game is set to release in 2018. No specific date has been announced yet.
