A brand new trailer for Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon has revealed the evolutions for starter Pokemon, new features, and a demo! The Pokemon Sun and Moon demo will be available to download directly from Nintendo eShop or via the official Nintendo website starting from October 18 and will feature Ash-Greninja!
Pokemon Sun and Moon will have previously experienced features, as well as new features. Mega Evolutions will be featured in both games, as will the Pokemon Global Link – which is being updated with new features, like new Online Competitions, global missions and more.
One of the new features in the Pokemon Sun and Pokemon Moon games is the Festival Plaza. Visiting this plaza will allow players to see other people playing that are near you or players that are connected to the internet that are ready to battle or trade!
Talking to people in the Festival Plaza will reward players with Festival Coins that can be used in dye houses, goody shops (where rare items are obtained) and even bouncy castles for Pokémon to train in. As players gather more Festival Coins, their Festival Plaza will rank up, yielding rewards and making more activities available. Players will even gain the ability to host missions, where multiple players can work together to try to achieve certain goals.
In addition to the Festival Plaza, Poke Pelago will be featured in the game. Poke Pelago allows Pokemon that are stored in a PC Box to explore a variety of isles, play on athletic equipment and do other activities. If players send many Pokémon to Poké Pelago, they can develop more facilities on the isles and also develop new kinds of isles. As these isles develop and increase in number, they will allow players to obtain items and even raise Pokémon.
