NBA Playgrounds has finally gotten a release date. Available on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC, the game from Saber Interactive will release on May 9.
NBA Playgrounds is a 2-on-2 arcade-style basketball game. It's being compared to the legendary NBA Jam. There are actually a lot of similarities. Both feature stylized characters and over-the-top dunk animations. The game can be played single-player or multiplayer (via online or the couch) and features plenty of other game modes.
The game is officially licensed, so be ready to see some real basketball legends of the past and present with big heads and spindly arms. What's more, additional players will be added after release.
