[Watch] Suicide Squad Extended Cut gets new trailer showing more unseen Joker footage

Better than nothing.

When Suicide Squad released in August, there was a lot of controversy over the fact that Jared Leto's Joker was barely in the film despite being advertised as having a significant presence in the movie. Even though director David Ayer and Warner Bros. promised there would be no extended cut of the film, they ended up announcing one earlier this month!

The extended cut won't be as drastic as Batman v Superman's Ultimate Edition which had 30 extra minutes of footage, but it should help make the film much more coherent. The Suicide Squad Extended Cut is set to have 11 minutes of additional footage along with bonus behind the scenes features.

This morning, we got a brand new trailer for the extended cut of the film showing more of Harley and Joker's relationship and more. You can view the trailer below.

The extended cut will release on November 15th for digital platforms and December 13th for Blu-Ray and DVD.
